Always wanted to try calligraphy? If you’re a novice to the skill, have experimented a little, or have some skills but need some more calligraphy inspiration, then the Introduction to Brush Pen Modern Calligraphy workshop, hosted by Rachel of Cotswolds Calligraphy, might be the creativity boost you’re looking for.

In the workshop, you will be welcomed with a calligraphy kit that is yours to keep after the workshop. Rachel will guide you through your worksheets, firstly diving into learning the foundations of calligraphy. With your new knowledge, you will create beautiful lowercase and uppercase letters, autumnal-themed words, illustrations and lettering art.

Calligraphy for Rachel, is a slow and steady process. Putting the pen to paper offers a moment of relaxation and this workshop will reflect the calmness that calligraphy can bring. You will go through the worksheets at your own pace within the two and a half hours. There will be plenty of time for Rachel to guide you, share top tips, and ask any questions you may have along the way.

Refreshments are included to keep you fuelled through the workshop!
Both right- and left-handers welcome!

Tickets are strictly non-refundable. Ensure you can attend before booking.

Venue Rules

No pets allowed.

There may be photographers and content creators at the event. By booking a ticket, you consent to yourself and anyone attending with you,  appearing in photos and videos, which may be used in promotional materials for Dunkertons and affiliated businesses.

Card payments only at the bar.

Limited car parking is available at the Dunkertons overflow car park; follow signs. Use taxis or car share, if possible, due to restricted parking.

Smoking or vaping is prohibited in the marquee; use designated smoking areas.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour of any kind, including verbal abuse toward other attendees and members of our staff. Violators will have their tickets cancelled with no refunds before the event or be asked to leave on the night.
