Last night Julian, Alan and Andrew attended The Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards at Cheltenham Racecourse.
We were shortlisted in the Best Local Food & Drink Initiative category for our National Apple Day event. Although we did not win Alan and Andrew had a great time meeting some of our existing customers at neighboring tables, as well as meeting new potential customers who were very keen to hear about the Dunkertons shop in Cheltenham.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and it was great to see all the great talent that resides within the Cotswolds. Dunkertons also felt very proud when Julian was presented with the Cotswold Life Hero award for his work and commitment to Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
We hosted National Apple Day at our Cheltenham Site on Sunday the 21st October 2018. It was a wonderfully sunny day. Families came from all around to enjoy activities including the opportunity for to press their own apple juice using the traditional hand-press, a face painter, a demonstration of our bottling line as well as a food truck serving the best organic pomme frites and pumpkin and apple soup!
