About Breakwells Seedling

A fragrant and fruity sparkling medium dry cider made only from the Breakwells Seedling apple. The variety was first discovered over a century ago at Perthyre Farm in Monmouth. Farmer George Breakwell loved its flavour so much he propagated the seedling, and it was later planted in orchards across Herefordshire, including our own.

Organic since 1988 · Soil Association certified

Award-winning organic cider since 1980

Founded in Herefordshire, we grow cider apples and perry pears without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, then press, ferment and bottle every drop ourselves — slowly, and never from concentrate.

Breakwells Seedlng ciders for Breakwells

Love this cider. My maiden name was Breakwell and I first came across the cider at the original cider factory tour about 40 years ago and have been buying it ever since - would have been rude not to! I have never regretted it as it is the best I’ve tasted, real cider. I’ve now converted a lot of friends as well and am even paying my grass cutting neighbour in bottles at his request - must be good!

Great Taste

My first time buying Breakwells, it is without doubt a great tasting cider and could easily become my favourite, just the right sweetness and a bite at the back of the palate..so nice.
