On 12 October StarBistro will hold its first ever cider and food pairing event. Excitingly, they have partnered with Gabe Cook – ‘The Ciderologist’ – to offer guests an unforgettable tasting experience.

Gabe’s first book, Ciderology – From History and Heritage to the Craft Cider Revolution – will be available to purchase on the night, with the cider aficionado on-hand to sign copies.

Joe Parke, Head chef at StarBistro, has been working closely with Gabe to create the evening’s menu, where each dish will be expertly matched to a cider that compliments its flavours. One of the food pairings even features our awards winning Organic Vintage Cider!

‘It’s something I haven’t done before and I enjoy the challenge,’ said Joe.

‘Gabe knows his stuff and he’s looking to educate people. The evening’s got really good food with expertly chosen ciders.’
