On Saturday 1st June we held our first event of the year. We thought we would celebrate World Cider Day and kick it off by having a party in true Dunkertons style and wasn’t it a fantastic day.

We welcomed ticket holders to our site to enjoy the sunshine, dance-worthy live music, and mouth-watering organic cider and food!

Ronnie Bonetti, Head Chef of No.131 in Cheltenham, rustled up an amazing summer style buffet salad and his legendary cheese toasties cooked on Court Royal apple wood collected from our Pembridge orchards open fire pits with bricks. The food he prepared was a hit with the crowd, and the cheese toasties still have our mouths watering.

Guests got their dancing shoes on to the beats of DJ Lisa Unique, The Funky Jets, and Bootique. Their performances were fantastic and got everyone up dancing with a little help from our cider!

Children gathered around to have a go at pressing their very own apple juice, as well as get their face painted by our talented guest face painter Carolyn Randell. There was also the opportunity to get a beautiful handmade flower garland by the florist who is soon to be opening next door to our shop.

All in all, it was an amazing day with amazing people.

Thank you to all who helped organise and were a part of the event running smoothly (Security, Ronnie, TLO, The Campervin Co, all the bands, and of course our Dunkertons staff). Thank you if you took the time to register your tickets and came to the event. It was truly unforgettable, so keep an eye out for our future events as they’re clearly not to be missed!
