Recently we went along to the Grand Designs Live 2015 NEC in Birmingham. We were invited to join the River Cottage Seasonal Garden an exciting collaboration between the Grand Designs Garden Designer of the year, Marc O’Neill and the gardening team at River Cottage HQ. The River Cottage Seasonal Garden showcased the abundance of produce available in October, with samples available from producers in and around the Midlands, along with some of the delicious produce made at River Cottage HQ.
Our Penny went along and here is her review.
It was extremely busy for us on the Dunkertons Stand. A lot of people came not only to taste the cider but to talk to us and learn about traditional cider making. We sold out of several of the varieties and met some very interesting people. We asked visitors to the stand what they thought of the ciders and the opinion was unanimous – “Fabulous”, “Amazing”, “Excellent” were just a few of the complimentary words said. Quite a few people advised they would serve the Dunkertons cider at a dinner party instead of wine! We were exhausted by the end of the day but it was worth every minute to speak to some new and existing fans of Dunkertons.
